Mr. Kavanagh spent the first 16 years of his career at Ernst & Young, including 6 years as a Partner in Financial Services. He subsequently transitioned to corporate finance and accounting. Over the past 21 years, Mr. Kavanagh has served as the Chief Financial Officer of a variety of public and private companies. After leaving Ernst & Young, Mr. Kavanagh’s experience included tenures as Chief Financial Officer of a number of subsidiaries of—Sunrise Medical, a publicly traded manufacturer of medical equipment, and Chief Financial Officer of Intercon Security Systems, one of the largest privately held standing security service firms in the United States. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Kavanagh served as the Chief Financial Officer of Crave Entertainment Group, where he played a key role, along with Mr. Taghavi and Mr. Maas, in executing the sale of Crave to HDL. From 2006 to 2013, Mr. Kavanagh served as Chief Financial Officer of K2 Networks, a venture-backed MMOG company, and in 2014, Mr. Kavanagh was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of FunPlus Interactive, a video game developer that released many successful social games on Facebook, and was acquired by a publicly traded Chinese company for nearly $1 billion, where Mr. Kavanagh played a key role in planning, structuring and executing the transaction.
